Sep 12 - It’s Homecoming Week! 🎉 What do you love most about being part of the Lakeside community? How do you show off your school spirit? What is your favorite Homecoming tradition or event?

Response: The thing I love most about being part of the Lakeside community is the fact that it feels so small, yet is so strong. I feel like most of the students at other schools don't really know each other all that well, but here at Lakeside, it feels like every student is friends with one another. I try to show off my school spirit by posting my excitement for school events on my Instagram, where I mostly connect with my fellow students since I only have 4 classes this year. I've felt pretty disconnected from Lakeside recently because of this fact, but I still find a lot of joy in seeing all my fellow students post about their opinions of Lakeside and world events online. My favorite Homecoming tradition/event is when everyone gets together after Homecoming to go to Waffle House or Felini's. This has been a tradition at Pius and at Lakeside all throughout my High School life, and I love it every time. This year I went to IHOP, though.

Summary: Today, we presented our storymaps.

Reflection: I feel like every year that Homecoming comes around, it reminds us of the past years Homecomings, and how different things are from then.
