Feb 27 - After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.

Response: While looking at my classmates digital posters, I couldn't help but think "I should have done my poster like that." For example, Orion's digital poster was very visually creative with his black and red theme. Looking at these other digital posters, it inspired me to make a more visually appealing poster the next time that I am assigned to make one.

Summary: Today, we looked at our classmates visual posters and provided feedback for their work.

Reflection: It's important to remember that these digital posters have to be both visually and grammatically creative.

Response: My mother tells me this story every year on my birthday and cries without fail every time. I was born on May 10th, 2007, at Gwinnett Hospital around 1:00 pm. My mother had to have an emergency C-section because I was pretty sick from an infection that I had. The birth overall wasn't too bad for my mother and my dad, but my mom could tell something was wrong with me when her water broke in the bathtub, and the color was discolored and yellow. Sep 3 - Think about a moment when you challenged your parent(s)’ rules or expectations. How did you feel, and what was the outcome?

Response: The first thing I will say is that neither of my parents are strict in the slightest. I don't know any other kid who has this amount of freedom, but also love from their parents like my sister and I do. I'm allowed to stay out late (most days), I can have my girlfriend over whenever and wherever I want, I have free use of the car at all times, and ever since I turned 10, I have never had a bedtime. They're the type of parents to let me do as I please, as long as I am doing good in school and can stay responsible with the amount of freedom they give me. But even when I am slipping very badly in school (like last year and the year before), I've learned that they don't really care all too much if I am irresponsible with my choices and freedom. Discuss a moment in your own life when something you believed in turned out to be different than what you imagined. How did this realization shape your identity or worldview?

Response: A recent phone call made me realize that he will always be the same, no matter how much time passes. For the longest time, it felt like I was just interacting and talking with him out of pity, or so he wouldn't get mad that I wasn't talking to him. It had felt like I was finally getting him on the right path in life by having our relationship grow and heal, but it's clear to me now that he will still be the same man I've always known. The message of this whole story is more important than the details, but we had gotten into an argument about when my sister and I were going over to see him, and it was clear that he was having trouble understanding that we couldn't see him for a while because of all our events here (he lives an hour away in Dallas, GA).
