April 27 - Which factor plays a greater role in shaping your future career choice: your genuine interest and passion for the field, or the financial benefits and stability it can provide? In your response, explain which one you prioritize and why, and consider how this decision might impact your long-term happiness, motivation, and overall quality of life.

Response: I think that when choosing my future career choice, I'd have to implement both sides of this argument. As much as I would love to follow my passion of being a lead guitarist rockstar, I know that it is not a good financial investment in the long run. However, I don't want a job that sucks the life out of me like a classic office job. That's why when selecting my potential careers, I make sure that I'm both interested in the career and that it will support me financially. Some examples of these careers are being a lawyer, film/video editor and cameraman, project management, or an occupational therapist. All these careers I have a genuine interest and passion for, but most of them prioritize the financial benefits.

Summary: Today, we found 5 future careers that we would possibly be interested in. 

Reflection: When choosing my career path, I want to make sure that no matter what, I am able to prioritize my family life over everything.

Response: My mother tells me this story every year on my birthday and cries without fail every time. I was born on May 10th, 2007, at Gwinnett Hospital around 1:00 pm. Sep 3 - Think about a moment when you challenged your parent(s)’ rules or expectations. How did you feel, and what was the outcome?

Response: The first thing I will say is that neither of my parents are strict in the slightest. I don't know any other kid who has this amount of freedom, but also love from their parents like my sister and I do. I'm allowed to stay out late (most days), I can have my girlfriend over whenever and wherever I want, I have free use of the car at all times, and ever since I turned 10, I have never had a bedtime. They're the type of parents to let me do as I please, as long as I am doing good in school and can stay responsible with the amount of freedom they give me. But even when I am slipping very badly in school (like last year and the year before), I've learned that they don't really care all too much if I am irresponsible with my choices and freedom. Response: A recent phone call made me realize that he will always be the same, no matter how much time passes. For the longest time, it felt like I was just interacting and talking with him out of pity, or so he wouldn't get mad that I wasn't talking to him. It had felt like I was finally getting him on the right path in life by having our relationship grow and heal, but it's clear to me now that he will still be the same man I've always known. The message of this whole story is more important than the details, but we had gotten into an argument about when my sister and I were going over to see him, and it was clear that he was having trouble understanding that we couldn't see him for a while because of all our events here (he lives an hour away in Dallas, GA).
